Creative Internet maintains its web servers on Metairie Road in a suburb of New Orleans, Louisiana. Our web servers are 3 stories above sea level and have TRIPLE redundant, hot-failover, high-speed connections to the Internet (underground T1, fiber optic DS3, and an overhead wireless connection), as well as dedicated air-conditioning, a natural gas-powered electric generator (in the event of an extended power outage), and all of this is duplicated in our New York server room. Every 24 hours the data on the New Orleans web servers are replicated to the New York servers. In the event of a hurricane, war, or natural disaster effecting New Orleans, Creative Internet switches all of its hosted websites to the New York servers to ensure no downtime for website hosting clients.
Creative Internet maintains separate servers for websites, web databases, and email, and we provide our own name-servers and Domain Name Service (DNS). Creative Internet has DNS physically located in New York, Seattle, New Orleans, & Los Angeles.
